Oxen Hill Farm

Adventurous Eaters Club

Oxen Hill Farm Adventurous Eaters Club is a program designed to encourage kids, and even apprehensive adults, to try more of the vegetables offered in the summer CSA. Registration in this program is free and provides you or your child with a “farm passport” (HERE) in which they can collect a stamp each week for trying a new vegetable.

Each participant can show they tried a new vegetable by drawing a picture of the produce in the passport. Bring your completed passport to farm pick up each week to receive a stamp. "Waypoint" prizes will be available at 5 and 10 stamps earned.

If you would like, you can share your adventure by posting a picture of the participant trying the new vegetable to social media with the hashtag #oxenhillAEC.

Every adventurous eater that tries at least 15 of the vegetables will earn a prize at the end of the season!

In addition to the farm passport, members will also receive weekly emails highlighting a new vegetable, including nutrition info and recipes to try.  Throughout the course of the summer, our nutritionist, Jacqui Campbell MS, RD, CDN, will also be demoing different ways to enjoy some of our more challenging produce.

If you or a member of your family is interested in enrolling in the program, please contact Sarah at oxenhillfarmcsaintern@gmail.com.
